LEMARIT operates the domain name servers necessary for the technical operation. Five redundant name servers instances (3 Unicast Servers & 2 Anycast Clouds) ensure an extremely high reliability. Our Managed DNS avoids the technical and personnel effort to set up, operate, modify, and maintain your own name servers correctly. Thus, the fail-safe operation of the domains is permanently guaranteed. In addition, LEMARIT offers three additional options for operating your name servers – adapted to the respective customer needs.

LEMARIT’s DNS infrastructure has ever since its launch run without any interruptions. This means 100% availability for name lookups. LEMARIT offers four options for administrating and operating the name servers, tailor-made for the customers‘ needs.

Managed DNS

Operation and maintenance of the name servers by LEMARIT. Changes are made with the utmost care by DNS experts. On request with DNSSEC.

Semi-managed DNS

Operation and maintenance of the name servers by LEMARIT. Customers can edit DNS entries through the LEMARIT App. On request with DNSSEC.

Semi-independent DNS

Operation and maintenance of Primary DNS by the customer, LEMARIT provides Slave DNS. When using Hidden Primary on request with DNSSEC pass-through.

Independent DNS

LEMARIT only provides advice, all authoritative name servers are operated independently by the customer.
